Introducing our new skincare line: Circadia
Hi all,
Happy May! April showers better bring May flowers. It was an unusually cold April. I'm over it and ready for warm weather.
I'm also ready to announce our new skin care line - Circadia. As you all know, ClarityRx closed their doors. We were pretty surprised, but to be honest, we were already on the hunt to carry another line.
Steph and Mary did their research, looking for a skincare line that had a better price point, more support, and more to offer our clients at Halo. After our first meeting with Circadia, we were sold.
To introduce you to the new product line, we have some new spring facial offerings. Our featured products this month include SPF options from Circadia, just in time for sunny days.
Introducing Circadia
Welcome, Circadia. An innovative skincare that works with your circadian rhythm.
For over 25 years, Circadia has upheld standards rooted in biology, education, and integrity. Their philosophy is simple: Protect during the day. Repair at night.
For more info about Circadia, check out Circadia.com.
If you have questions about Circadia, chat with Steph and Mary at your next appointment. They're super excited and cannot wait to share Circadia with you.

Community Spotlight
by Julia Mongeau
The Asian Art & Food Truck Festival is returning to Wakefield on May 17, 2026.
Hyon Leon, Chair of the Wakefield Human Rights Commission, helped plan and organize the event for its second year.
To celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage month, Hyon wanted to put on an event inspired by Asian night markets and other Asian food and vendor markets. It was her daughter’s idea to include food trucks at the event.
“Bringing the community together to celebrate AAPI Heritage Month with Asian food and culture allows the community to experience items that are both familiar and new, both part of our history and our future,” said Hyon.
The festival takes place from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Galvin Middle School at 525 Main Street in Wakefield, MA. It's free and open to everyone.
Attendees can expect a mix of performances, fashion, kid friendly activities, and of course, delicious food.
The lineup this year includes something for everyone. Watch high energy Lion Dances, listen to Chinese musical performances, or marvel at yo-yo acrobatics from Diabolo Yo-yo. You can also view traditional Asian fashion, including Vietnamese, Chinese, and Korean clothing.
“The Chinese musical performance is one item that I'm excited to see as I've never heard many of these instruments performed live before,” said Hyon.
This year, there will also be a children’s activities section, featuring books from three Asian authors, plus various crafts and activities. Check out books from Windy Pham, Tracy Guan, and Vincent Yee. Kids can peruse books, make a flower bouquet or lantern, get their face painted, play a chopstick challenge, or practice calligraphy.
With so much happening, you’ll need some food to keep up your energy. Food options include:
Hyon hopes that attendees have fun learning more about AAPI inspired art and food. If there’s one thing she wants them to carry with them when they leave Galvin Middle School on May 17, it’s happiness.
“Last year, I was looking at photos from the event, and I landed on a picture of my daughter and her friends at the event and she and her friends glowed with happiness,” said Hyon. “If the festival can provide moments of happiness whether through laughter, food, music, friends or belonging, we did good.”
So, mark your calendars for May 17th and stop by the Asian Art & Food Truck Festival in Wakefield.
