Hello, I’m Cheryl and I’m the Reception Manager at Halo. I grew up in Melrose and went to school with Jenn’s sister, Alissa. After I graduated from Melrose High School, I got my license as a manicurist and became the owner of a small business here in Melrose, right behind where Halo is currently located.

I ran and operated the business for 9 years before selling it in 2007 to start a family with my husband. I loved being a business owner, and really missed it. I always thought, “Maybe someday in the future, I can run a business again.”

Fast forward, I had two boys 15 months apart. When my youngest started kindergarten, I wondered what I would do with my free time. I happened to have a conversation with my friend, Alissa, and she mentioned that Jenn was looking for help with the front desk. It was meant to be - I started working at Halo and I absolutely love what I do and I love working for Jenn. Not only is she a great boss, she’s become a great friend.
